WordPress Tip – Open New Tabs Dummy

Submitted by Dana on August 21, 2008 – 10:20 amNo Comment

I Love me some WordPress, but moving around can be similar to downloading lolCats on a 14k Modem. It’s really not the fault of WordPress, its just the nature of pages loading etc. I’m sure most of us use two tabs w/ WordPress, 1 for editing, 1 for viewing but I dare you to extend that… Pop 5, 6, 7, 12, 24. Whatever you need.

Using tab navigation, you can have a few page edits open, the css, php, cForms, plugins or whatever you need quickly available.

WordPress Objects I Keep Open In Tabs:

  • Theme Editor (CSS / PHP Templates)
  • Pages for Editing / Ordering
  • Posts
  • Plugins
  • cForms
  • FireFTP
