Just How Narcoleptic Are You aka Living Dead Analysis

In college, you couldn’t find me anywhere before 10am, which created quite a bit of problems considering all the Information Technology / Information Systems classes at Marian College were ALWAYS scheduled around 8am..  (Thank Mr. Doherty… - somehow I grad-i-tated.) 

After college, entering the 9-5, I found waking up earlier and earlier became easier and easier.  8am, 7am, 6am no problems.  I was easily functioning on 6-8 hours a night, regardless of espresso injections. 

Just this last week I re-polled myself and discovered something kinda startling… I’m now getting just about 4 hours a night sleep, and still functioning at 120%.   My alarm goes off around 4am, and I usually shut down for the day at or around midnight / 1am. 

I think I read once that popular, successful CEO’s like Donald Trump sleep 4 hours a night.  If this is true, it now leads me to the question I impose to my readers..

  1. Does this give me greater chances of CEO / Donald Trump-like success?

    or

  2. Does this mean I’m going to have a Tribble living on my head in 6 years like he does.  (Considering his wife, maybe not so much of a problem…)
